Attendance Requirements for Courses and Practical Exams
ARTICLE 22 – (1) Students are required to attend courses, practical exams, laboratories, and examinations. Regardless of their excuses, the attendance requirement is at least 70 for theoretical courses and at least 80 for practical and laboratory exams.
(2) Students who fail to meet the attendance requirements will not be allowed to take the end-of-semester exam and will receive an Absent (NA) grade.
(3) Students' attendance is monitored and evaluated by the relevant instructor.
(4) In repeated theoretical and practical courses, if the student has met the attendance requirement in the previous semester, the relevant unit board will decide whether or not to require attendance, provided that the student takes the midterm exams.
(4a) There is no attendance requirement for courses failed with "FF" and "FD" grades as per the Unit Board Decision. Attendance is mandatory for courses where a grade of "NA" is obtained.
