Our Faculty of Sports Sciences was established as the School of Physical Education and Sports with the approval of the Council of Ministers dated 09/04/1997, and was transformed into the Faculty of Sports Sciences by the Presidential Decree numbered 1911 dated 12/24/2019.
Our faculty, which started its education life in 1997 in the field of Physical Education and Sports Teaching in the central campus of Gaziantep University, continues its education with 3 programs in 3 departments at the undergraduate level with the establishment of the Coaching Education Departments in 2009 and the Sports Management Departments in 2010. The education period in our faculty is 8 semesters in all departments and the language of instruction is Turkish.
In addition, there are Master's and Doctoral programs run by faculty members of our Faculty within the Institute of Health Sciences and the Institute of Social Sciences. These;
